Position Overview
The Director of MSIS & MSFT Graduate Recruiting plays a highly visible and strategic role in driving the growth and success of Menlo College’s Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) and Master of Science in Financial Technology (MSFT) programs. The incumbent leads efforts to attract high-caliber candidates, focusing on early-career professionals, career switchers, and international students with STEM and business backgrounds. The ideal candidate has a strong background in graduate recruitment, demonstrated success in innovative marketing strategies, and expertise in leveraging data-driven insights to achieve enrollment goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Recruitment
● Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy for the MSIS and MSFT programs, targeting domestic and international candidates from the population of Menlo College undergraduates as well as students and young professionals from outside of the Menlo community.
● Identify and engage with early-career professionals, career switchers, and international students seeking specialized graduate education.
● Establish and expand strategic partnerships with select universities, corporations, and professional associations to enhance program visibility and attract talent.
● Coordinate domestic and international travel as needed to further successful recruitment efforts.
Marketing and Digital Engagement
● Collaborate with the Menlo marketing team to develop compelling messaging and targeted digital strategies to promote the MSIS and MSFT programs.
● Design and execute content-driven campaigns (webinars, email marketing, LinkedIn outreach) to engage prospective students.
● Ensure alignment between recruitment efforts and Menlo College’s broader brand strategy to maximize program visibility.
Admissions & Enrollment Management
● Oversee the applicant journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from inquiry to enrollment.
● Utilize CRM platforms (Slate, Salesforce) and data analytics tools to track applicant engagement, optimize conversion rates, and enhance recruitment strategies.
● Analyze recruitment metrics, application trends, and enrollment data to continuously refine recruitment tactics and report key insights.
Event Management & Outreach
● Plan and execute high-impact recruiting events (e.g., information sessions, career fairs, networking events) to engage prospective students.
● Develop and manage partnerships with corporate HR and Learning & Development teams to create career transition pathways for working professionals.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Application Volume: Increase in application volume from targeted personas and markets.
● Yield Rate: Growth in the percentage of admitted students who enroll.
● Partnership Development: Expansion of corporate and university partnerships to drive recruitment.
Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, education, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
● A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in graduate recruitment, with a demonstrated successful track record of achieving enrollment goals.
● Proven experience developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies for national and international markets.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
● Strong leadership and team management skills.
● Proficient in CRM (Slate, Salesforce) and data analysis tools to manage recruitment processes and evaluate program effectiveness.
● Expertise in recruiting early-career professionals, career switchers, and international students.

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
