Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project teams through the entire project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong client relationships.
- Develop comprehensive project documentation including project charters, plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports.
- Track project performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Analyzes risks and provides regular updates to Operations Managers regarding projects status and any problems or potential problems. Take proactive steps to minimize delays in delivery.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and critical path activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities and communications.
- Promote continuous improvement by refining project management standards, templates, and processes.
- Collaborate with technical leadership to ensure alignment of project objectives with overall technology strategy.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level updates and project health assessments.
- Support change management processes to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary technical projects.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in project management tools (experience with Monday.com a plus).
- Skilled in conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
- Detail-oriented and driven to achieve results in a dynamic environment.
- Extended viewing of computer screen.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise and temperature changes.
- 5 years of experience managing technical or infrastructure-related projects.
- 3 years in a formal project management role, preferably in IT services or consulting.
- 3–5 years of experience in a technical role within a managed services or IT support environment.
- Experience with Education, Civic, or Healthcare industries preferred.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in project portfolio management, reporting, and governance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft, Cisco, and/or Citrix environments.
