What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Front Desk Receptionist position at Mennowood-Assisted Living Community?
The Receptionist receives general supervision and control from the Assistant Administrator. In the absence of the Assistant Administrator, the Receptionist will accept advice and instruction from the Administrator. The Receptionist will comply with established policies and operational procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: The Receptionist is responsible for screening the traffic coming into the building during assigned hours in accordance with established policies and operational procedures. Specifically, the Receptionist:
1. Admits visitors and/or guests into the Facility as outlined in established policies and operational procedures.
2. Answers telephone and processes telephone calls properly.
3. Cleans and organizes the work areas.
4. Files work orders as instructed.
5. Maintains effective resident relations, while acting as a liaison between the Administrative Staff and the resident population. Handles work orders, resident complaint forms and resident forms and submits these to the appropriate Administrative Staff member.
6. Performs light cleaning of office area.
7. Observes and protects residents’ rights including rights to confidentiality, privacy and dignity.
8. Practices safety procedures and complies with established reporting of accidents and injuries.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
