Responsibilities
- This is a sworn position performing law enforcement functions in Menominee County. Primary enforcement of Chapter 30 of the Wisconsin State Statutes along with local ordinances
- Assist in conflict management by addressing concerns and facilitating resolutions
- Handle first aid situations as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct surveillance and assist with criminal investigations as required.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and communications.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Citizen, minimum age 21
- Driver license
- Good driving record
- Good physical condition
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
- High School diploma
- 60 college credits
- Associate degree
- Ability to possess a firearm
- No felony convictions
- No domestic abuse convictions
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Good verbal and written communication skill
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
- Able to work evening, weekends and holidays
