Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Development Coordinator, RN located in St. Petersburg, FL. The Staff Development Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff. Day-to-day tasks include assessing the training needs of staff, developing curriculum, organizing and conducting training sessions, maintaining records of educational activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves continuous evaluation and improvement of training programs to align with best practices in patient care and safety.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Experience in staff education and training in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational and curriculum development skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to motivate and engage staff in continuous learning and development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field is preferred
- CPR certification is a plus
