What are the responsibilities and job description for the PHILANTHROPY, SPONSORSHIPS & PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER // COFOUNDER (USA BASED) position at MENTAL GROWTH NETWORK?
(US-Based // Mission-Aligned Growth Role)
Currently in Pre-Startup / Resource-Building Stage
I’m currently developing My Health Buddy, a HealthTech MVP designed to support people living with chronic conditions through behaviorally informed, human-centered technology. Our first focus is on diabetes, identified through market research as a high-impact starting point due to its prevalence and preventability.
We’ve already validated strong user interest through fake door testing and extensive discovery work with patients and clinicians. The project was recently restructured in collaboration with a US-based specialist in UX, neuroscience, and behavioral science, sharpening the product vision around long-term habit formation and daily health behavior support.
To move into MVP development, we’re seeking a US-based Philanthropy, Sponsorships & Partnerships Manager — someone who deeply understands the US funding landscape and has an active network across mission-aligned funders: from philanthropic foundations and public programs to private donors and values-driven organizations open to collaboration.
You will lead efforts to secure non-equity funding — through grants, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships — to help us grow with integrity and independence. While this role focuses on non-dilutive capital, it also includes the opportunity to join the project as an early equity holder and long-term collaborator.
This is a chance to co-create a purpose-led HealthTech solution that could reshape how chronic care is supported in the US healthcare system. You’ll work alongside a lean, committed team that values ethical innovation, equity, and systems change — and your insight and relationships will directly influence how and where we grow.
What I’m looking for is someone who has raised funds or built partnerships in health or social care, impact tech, or nonprofit spaces. You have a strong network in philanthropy or public-private funding, know how to position projects for non-equity support, and are confident engaging both donors and institutions. You care about health equity, behavioral science, and meaningful technology.
I’m based in Europe and currently leading product development as CTO. More information about the product and technology (including AI applications) can be shared after signing an NDA.
If you're excited by the idea of applying your network and expertise to help launch something meaningful — I’d love to connect.
