What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapeutic Mentor position at Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama?
Job Description
Working with youth (ages 5-12) who are receiving other mental health services by offering support, coaching, and training on age-appropriate behaviors. Documenting in electronic health records, working with a treatment team are all parts of this position, and monitoring youth's progress with mastery of skills.
We provide training as part of the onboarding process. It also involves travel in all 2-3 counties that we serve.
Prerequisites
Must have a high school diploma or GED, have computer literacy skills, and hold a valid AL driver's license.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.10 - $12.98 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
