Mental Health Kokua (MHK) is looking for a passionate and organized Residential Services Coordinator to lead our residential and rehabilitation teams and help adults with mental illness thrive in safe, supportive environments. This full-time role is based on Maui, and we’re seeking someone who already calls this island home.
Residential Services Coordinator Job Description:
- Supervise residential and rehabilitation staff, ensuring high-quality services and a safe living environment.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, from resident referrals to planning activities and maintaining the facility.
- Coordinate with case managers to ensure residents receive entitlements and support to achieve personal goals.
- Manage rental and facility operations, including unit assignments, inspections, rent collection, and maintenance coordination.
- Prepare schedules, review timesheets, and ensure contract compliance.
- Support and monitor staff documentation, billing, and adherence to MHK policies and standards.
Residential Services Coordinator Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Associate’s degree in Human Services or 5–10 years of experience in human services.
- Preferred qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with at least 2 years of experience in a related role.
- Experience supervising staff and working with individuals with serious mental illness, including dually diagnosed individuals.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; must be flexible and team-oriented.
- Required certifications: Current CPR, First Aid, TB clearance, valid Hawaii driver’s license, and clean driving record.
