The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description As a Training Specialist 1 you will work in the Education and Training Department and your duties include: • Developing and presenting trainings to facility staff.• Assisting program managers and supervisors in developing training programs that will optimize performance.• Monitoring training requirements and deadlines.• Maintaining web-based learning management system including entering completed training and running reports.Notes: In order to be eligible for appointment and to maintain employment, you cannot be listed as an excluded individual or entity on any of the Federal and/or State Medicaid and Medicare exclusion lists (or excluded from any other Federal or Federally assisted program). Appointment from this eligible list would be as a Training Specialist 1 Trainee and to be advanced to the full performance level, Trainee Specialist 1, you must successfully complete a 2 year traineeship.ORCandidates within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they are reachable on the Public Administration Traineeship Transition (PATT) eligible list.
