VABODE is seeking a certified or licensed substance abuse group facilitator for immediate positions in our Tidewater location. We are a technologically advanced state-wide healthcare agency with career opportunities for individuals who have experience facilitating ASAM 2.1, 2.5, or 3.1 services. The Substance Abuse Counselor facilities groups four days per week in three-hour sessions; and completes documentation of services but may be required to assist with Assessments and Authorizations. The average per-group caseload will not exceed 10 clients.

- Bachelor’s degree in a qualified Human Services Field
Experience:
- Addiction counseling: 1 year (Required)
Certification:
- Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (Required)
Schedule:
- Lead 2 SAIOP groups for a total of 6 hours
- Day and/or Evening Shifts Monday – Thursday
- No weekends
