The Mental Illness Recovery Center (MIRCI) is a non-profit organization that assists homeless individuals, both adults and youth, with clinical needs and permanent housing and is seeking a Transitional Living Program Coordinator.
JOB FUNCTION :
Under supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Transitional Living Program (TLP) Coordinator provides leadership and oversight to MIRCI's transitional housing programs to develop and / or refine skills to help young people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness make a successful transition to self-sufficient living.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES NEEDED :
- Ability to manage and provide supervision, to include coaching, recruiting, selection, performance evaluation, training, and leadership
- Knowledge of providing supportive services and assistance to youth who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Knowledge of crisis interventions
- Knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with clients and other staff members
- Knowledge of basic health and welfare services provided by other public and private agencies
- Ability to establish and maintain effective contact with individuals, families, and representatives of other professional disciplines
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to persons served

Must have a valid SC driver's license and a good driving record.
