Summary:
As the Program Manager at Mental Wellness Center, you will be at the forefront of providing clinical services, program supervision, and development. A day in the life of this position includes program development and management, clinical oversight, grant and data evaluations, performance reporting, community engagement, and public speaking. Your skills and deep understanding of the Santa Barbara community will be crucial in serving underrepresented populations and aligning with the departmental vision.
Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Lead the development and enhancement of our Peer and Parent Program, ensuring they align with our core values and meet the evolving needs of our community.
- Supervisory Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of program coordinators, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare regular reports on program outcomes and achievements for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating the impact of our programs.
- Clinical Oversight: Utilize your clinical degree and licensure (or licensure track) to ensure the clinical quality of our programs.
- Grant Management: Evaluate grants and data to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of our programs.
Performance Reporting: Conduct employee performance reports to foster professional development and program improvement. - Community Engagement: Leverage your deep understanding of the Santa Barbara community to identify and address the needs of underrepresented populations.
- Public Speaking: Share your expertise by delivering public presentations and representing MWC at various community events.
- Networking: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, the board of directors, program volunteers, and grant writers.
- Crisis Management: Remain comfortable in high-stress and crisis situations, providing guidance and leadership when needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Clinical degree and licensure (or licensure track) in a related field. Clinical Supervision available if needed.
· Experience in public speaking and public presentations.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program development and management, with 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
· Proficiency in program development, evaluation, and strategic planning.
· Team management and communication skills.
· Strategic Thinking and analytical skills.
· Strong leadership skills with empathy and compassion
· Proficiency in record-keeping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Flexibility to work evenings and weekend on occasion.

Salary: The salary base pay range for this role is between $72,800 to $88,000.
