What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at MentorMate?
MentorMate is seeking an Account Manager to deliver excellence in our existing customer contracting, retention, and experience efforts. The Account Manager will support the client engagement function within MentorMate and will be responsible for proactively developing one-on-one business relationships within our client base, while finding opportunities to introduce MentorMate’s service offerings to solve business problems.
The Account Manager will partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Solutions, Delivery, Legal, Finance, and the rest of the Operations team to align resources to facilitate deal closure. The Account Manager will project manage proposals, approvals, and contracting workflows for assigned client accounts. In addition, The Account Manager will assist in tracking and analyzing the metrics associated with our existing customer base.

Responsibilities Include:
Develop a strong understanding of the company, its offerings, and all new initiatives that impact proposal responses
Proactively identify and drive sales opportunities within assigned account base
Manage the entire workflow of contract renewals and additional business including contracts, proposals, RFPs, and estimates
Arrange and participate in technical and sales presentations to clients as needed
Build strong productive relationships with clients as well as internal partners to drive deal efficiency and meet revenue objectives
Key communicator role between clients and team leads as needed
Responsible for ensuring a world-class client and team experience
Provide strategic analysis such as margin analysis, account growth plans, travel plan costs, etc.
Assist with special projects as assigned
Position will require less than 20% travel
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years of related professional experience
Outstanding analytical skills, including ability to deliver reporting that informs strategic decisions
Outstanding writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to successfully manage projects from start to finish
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage changing priorities
Excellent cross-organizational skills, including the ability to influence without authority and communicate with senior executives
Strong interpersonal and relational aptitude, and team-oriented
Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Experience in a software or technical company desired
Experience working with offshore remote teams
Working knowledge of Hubspot
Proficiency in Google applications
