Menzner Hardwoods Company is seeking long-term career employees interested in product packaging. We have positions for hardworking, motivated, and dependable employees.

Duties may include:

• Checks order list for products required and obtains products from storage racks.
• Assembles products into bundles using plastic wrap and particle board as necessary.
• Bands bundles using banding equipment. Moves finished bundles and/or carts to shipping area.
• Assists with other shipping related duties as directed by supervisor and other duties as required.

Qualifications: Candidates must be 18 years old, have basic computer skills/ attention to detail / accuracy/ physically capable of lifting / maneuvering up to 30 lbs. regularly, be capable of standing for 8 hours shift/ work well with coworkers in a team environment, and have solid work tenure in prior employment.

Second Shift Hours: 2:30pm - 10:30pm, Monday - Friday. Shifts include a paid break and paid lunch. Overtime hours are required as needs arise, which typically involve working 9 hour shifts during the week, and an occasional 6 hour shift on Saturdays.

Vacation accrual starts on your first day and is available to use after 30 days of employment, as well as attendance incentive days after six months. Up to 12 weeks paid Maternity Leave and 4 weeks Caregiver Leave available 1st of the month following 12 months of employment for full-time employees.

Second shift has a $0.75 shift premium pay. We promote from within, so advanced grade levels for other positions such as back-up machine operators or operators may start at $17.27 or higher, with the same increase for shift premium.
