Seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their growing fintech company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in revenue recognition under ASC 606 and be able to quickly apply their knowledge to the company's financial processes.
If you like to build, improve processes and have a thirst to do more this is a great role. The environment will be dynamic, fast moving and you'lll be able to work across the business building technical accounting skills and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage monthly revenue activities, including the close process and reconciliations for deferred costs- Record journal entries to reflect revenue, deferred revenue, assets, and accrued receivables in the financial records under ASC 606- Manage client invoicing, fixed asset (capitalization, depreciation, and impairment), and equity accounts- Develop and implement internal controls and support audits- Constantly look for process improvement opportunities and add value to the team as the company growsQualifications
- Bachelors Accounting highly valued - 4 years of accounting and GAAP experience, including monthly close and financial statement preparation- Recent experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition- Proficient in NetSuite
Saas, Fintech, Financial Services experience- Adaptable and proactive in identifying areas for process improvement
