Compensation
The salary range for this position is $88,870 to $122,640. Compensation is based on location and experience.

Job Summary
Meow Wolf’s Finance Systems Manager is the primary leader and Subject Matter Expert for our financial systems, including our ERP, Workday Financials. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, optimization, and integrity of critical finance software. As a key member of the Finance Systems Team, they play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation, optimization, and reliability of financial systems, enabling efficient workflows, accurate reporting, and compliance across the company.
The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and highly detail-oriented, with a deep understanding of finance processes, system configurations, and best practices. They thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance financial operations and drive continuous improvement.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.
Physical Demands
This is a remote position that primarily requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. Employees must have the ability to use a keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment. Occasional standing, walking, and participation in virtual meetings may be required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus for screen use.
The employee will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9a.m. to 5 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

This position will require minimal travel (<10%)

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Workday Financials system, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration with third-party systems such as point-of-sale and financial planning & analysis platforms.
- Own the Workday Financials roadmap, overseeing project prioritization, maintenance activities, and deployment while keeping stakeholders informed throughout.
- Act as a trusted partner to Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Payroll, and IT, serving as the Workday Financials SME.
- Lead the resolution of support issues by acting as the primary interface with our AMS provider and consulting partners.
- Ensure process integrity by developing and enforcing appropriate financial policies and controls.
- Maintain the finance security model, managing user permissions, access, personalization, and system settings through ongoing maintenance and reporting.
- Take a leadership role in establishing SOX-compliant processes for financial systems.
- Stay ahead of Workday releases, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvements and efficiencies.
- Develop and execute a reporting strategy to ensure financial data is accessible and actionable for users.
- Provide training and documentation to support internal users of financial systems.
- Deliver technical support across all finance system modules.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders for system design and implementation projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in finance systems management
- 3 years of experience with Workday Financials
- Experience implementing and/or supporting core Workday Finance modules including, Projects, Procurement, Suppliers, Banking & Settlement and Expenses in addition to FDM and Financial Accounting.
- Advanced experience with Workday reporting, including dashboards, discovery boards, composite reports, advanced reports, matrix reports and calculated fields
- Advanced experience with the Workday security model strongly preferred
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of internal and external factors affecting company objectives.
- Experience analyzing financial performance metrics and optimizing processes.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in process improvement, change management, and end-to-end implementations.
- Experience working with payroll systems preferred
