- Ensure efficient patient flow by assisting with check-in, taking vitals, and preparing exam rooms.
- Perform point-of-care tests, administer vaccinations (as permitted by state law), and assist with lab work.
- Respond to patient inquiries, including providing test results and coordinating medical records.
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and durable medical equipment orders.
- Provide patient education on medication adherence, smoking cessation, and overall health management.
- Maintain infection control standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in community outreach events as needed, including occasional weekends.

- Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
- Experience with behavioral health and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
Salary : $18
