About the Role: We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join our leadership team, promoting and selling our waste management services and portable toilets. This role involves expanding sales through existing accounts and new opportunities via door-to-door sales and in-person meetings. The ideal candidate has a proven sales background in the waste services industry, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to client engagement. They must be able to self-manage, analyze data, target business development, and grow our presence in North and South Carolina.

Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell waste management services through targeted prospecting, business development, and relationship building.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, commercial and construction clients, franchisers, business leaders, and government officials to secure new contracts and extend existing agreements.
- Use consultative selling to understand client needs, working with the Managing Director and internal teams to meet expectations and close deals.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and implement market and sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets for new business development.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by aligning services with client needs, maintaining clear communication, and providing tailored solutions.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive outreach and direct engagement.
- Drive contract acquisition, retention, and renewal by building relationships with key decision-makers.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support company sales goals.
Requirements
- Experience: 4 years in B2B sales (preferred); 2 years in the waste industry (preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Skills
- Strong time management, decision-making, and attention to detail.
- Effective negotiation and strategic selling.
- Ability to analyze market trends, develop sales plans, and forecast.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM sales tracking tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Frequent talking, hearing, sitting (driving or at a desk), and occasional walking.
- Ability to bend, twist, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Requires close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus.
- Primarily mobile role, alternating between client meetings, driving, and office tasks for 8 hours.
