OVERVIEW:
The Helpdesk Summer Intern will gain hands-on experience in IT support by assisting the helpdesk team with troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining IT systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a career in IT to develop problem-solving skills, gain exposure to enterprise technology environments, and contribute to a fast-paced support team.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving IT requests via ticketing system, email, and in-person support.
- Set up and configure workstations, peripherals, and user accounts.
- Document technical issues and solutions in the knowledge base.
- Support IT projects such as system upgrades, inventory management, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the helpdesk experience for end-users.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
