Custodian/Janitor

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Janitor/Custodian to help us uphold the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our state-of-the-art facility.

Job Description:

As a Janitorial/Custodian, you will play a vital role in ensuring our dealership is clean, organized, and welcoming. You will be responsible for maintaining all areas of the dealership, including showrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, service areas, and Exterior of the Dealership. This position requires attention to detail, time management, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness that reflect the luxury experience we provide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning duties in all areas of the dealership, including floors, windows, restrooms, offices, break rooms, and service bays, and store frontage.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize all floors and surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of high-traffic areas, including the showroom and customer waiting areas.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure restrooms are fully stocked with supplies and maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, and other frequently used areas.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including seasonal deep cleaning or after special events.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, procedures, and chemical handling protocols.
• Light electrical, plumbing and painting, will also be part of this of position. Certifications, licensing and demonstrations of working knowledge is preferred and will be our highest qualified candidate.

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is required. References must be provided.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the dealership.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and staff.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
