Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll clerk to join our office team. The payroll clerk will play a crucial role in assisting employees with their payroll and HR needs, providing expert advice and guidance, and positive work experience. This is a full-time on-site position in Edmond, OK.
Responsibilities:
- Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and timely in ADP Total Source.
- Create and transmit the GL file to CDK after each payroll.
- Maintain employee A/R schedules.
- Process new hire background and drug test.
- Maintain all employee data in ADP in a timely manner (i.e. entering new hires, terminations etc.)
- Keep up with vacation and sick leave within ADP.
- Ensure all hours are entered into payroll accurately.
- Work with ADP to ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Provide HR support and guidance to employees and management on various HR-related matters.
- Any other task given by the Comptroller or Office Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Payroll experience
- Experience with ADP Total Source
- Dealership experience a plus
- Able to work in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
