Core Responsibilities:
- Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership
- Assist customers in selecting a vehicle, by asking questions and actively listening to their responses
- Explain product performance, application, and benefits to clients
- Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable demonstration of new/used vehicles
- Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company best practices
- Participate in team and process development sessions – maintaining positive relationships with teammates, sales teams and dealership management
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Availability to work evenings and Saturdays
- Prior automobile sales experience, preferred
- Comfortable with compensation based on commission sales
- Enthusiastic, with high energy throughout the day
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
