Mercedes-Benz USA Customer Service BI Junior Associate Consultant Overview and Responsibilities
The Junior Associate Consultant (JAC) will assist in the development and implementation of operational reports/queries as required, ensuring that all data is valid and accurately displayed. Assist in the design and maintenance of reporting processes based on performance and production statistics (current/actual and historical). Assist in the development and maintenance of applicable system tables to ensure accuracy and consistency. In this role, you will:

Mercedes-Benz USA Customer Service BI Junior Associate Consultant Overview and Responsibilities
The Junior Associate Consultant (JAC) will assist in the development and implementation of operational reports/queries as required, ensuring that all data is valid and accurately displayed. Assist in the design and maintenance of reporting processes based on performance and production statistics (current/actual and historical). Assist in the development and maintenance of applicable system tables to ensure accuracy and consistency. In this role, you will:
- Gain a full understanding of the Key Performance Indicators from each department within the Customer Services area by scheduling meetings and shadowing the Customer Services Business Intelligence team.
- Create automated reporting mechanisms and/or dashboards in Power BI that could be used to identify opportunities.
- Provide stakeholders with reporting and analytical support.
- Update regular reports and slides for these KPI's.
- Identify repetitive processes within the Customer Services BI Area and lead a project to implement automation for this process.
- Provide data and analytical support to Customer Service Departments by assisting in the preparation of standardized reports and ad hoc analyses.
- Analyze Key Performance Data to identify trends and communicate findings to stakeholders. Identify discrepancies, gaps in measures making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Research and analyze current Customer Service BI department reporting practices to streamline/eliminate manual reporting through the creation of automated processes and recommend improvements to DM and Supervisors.
- Support various business partners, including program managers who develop initiatives and technology used at dealerships in the service drive.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for acquiring data.
Required Qualifications:
- Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (preferably Business, Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics field)
- Available from April 2025 - October 2025
- Hybrid in-person schedule, up to 28 hours maximum per week
- Proof of Proficiency (Portfolio, Recommendation Letters, etc.)
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL preferred.
- Experience in Power BI, Alteryx and Tableau is a plus.
- Excellent MS Office applications including spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
