Department Overview
Aftersales Business Development (ASBD) is responsible for supporting developing, designing, and establishing new business models to support our Mercedes-Benz Dealer Network in providing our customers with an exceptional experience for all service-related events.
The Service Technology team manages tech programs and creates new digital tools & integrations to be used within the MBUSA dealer network.
Job Overview
The Intern Digital Services will work on a variety of business development and product topics for the Mercedes-Benz digital services portfolio. Mercedes-Benz USA offers many digital services to our customers such as in-app services, in-car services, and data services through 3rd party integrations. The Intern Digital Services will support the Connected Vehicle and Data Integrations teams with market launch tasks such as localization of HQ blueprints, testing customer features, and deploying customer communication strategies for new and existing digital services.

Qualifications / Education:
To qualify for this internship opportunity, you must be a rising junior, senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program.
Preferred concentration of study:
During this 8-10 week summer internship, you will be required to report the office 3 times a week at our Sandy Springs, GA headquarters.

This individual will assist with:
- Analytics – comprehensive and thorough analysis of service lift, customer satisfaction, survey data, etc. Analyze and maintain reporting to measure success of programs, forecast impact of new tools, and identify insights to further drive dealer efficiency.
- Business Development – Identify gaps based on research and Network/Dealer insights, support development of new projects & tools. Assist with new project launches and the alignment of all stakeholders to ensure its success.
- Competitive Landscape Research – Research and understand competitive offerings with other OEMs, Research new tools within the Service Technology market.
- Cross-Functional Alignment – Align internal, Marketing, Network, and vendor colleagues to ensure collaboration and drive project performance.
- Marketing Collaboration – Understand customer service journey and dealer needs; Assist in the development of Lead Management System to facilitate transfer of Service marketing leads.
- Assist in creation of Service Lead Management System (LMS). Participate in daily scrum with development vendor, internal IT alignments, assist in creating project update presentations, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of various ASBD surveys to the dealer network. Analyze results and develop reporting to communicate results to the stakeholders.
- Analysis of competitive market research in the service financing space. Create reporting to increase data transparency into the impact of service financing on repair orders (ROs).
- Support new projects to aid in the digital transformation of both customer and dealer touchpoints within the service experience to elevate customer experience within the dealer network.
- Generate market research reporting to identify AI-based vehicle damage detection platforms; Collaborate cross-departmentally with Engineering
- Services, Network, Field Teams to bring chosen solution to the dealer network.
- Support Service Programs that improve dealers’ operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by assisting in the development and deployment of service department tools and programs that create a progressive retail environment.
