Job Summary:
The Relationship Manager is a key member of the Client's Wealth Management Team. They work collaboratively with the UHNW Wealth Advisor and Wealth Solution Specialists on the following: ensuring world class customer service is delivered in a highly efficient manner with attention to detail and strong positive interpersonal skills, increase overall productivity of services delivered to the clients, identify additional growth opportunities within the book of business, and Identify and Implement Advanced Planning Techniques for clients as needed.
Essential Job Functions for the Relationship Manager will include:

Salary: Average annual salary range for this position across our locations is: $90,000 to $100,000 annually. Actual base pay within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills and licenses/certifications. This position is also eligible to earn incentive compensation through one of Mercer Advisors’ incentive compensation programs.

Essential Job Functions for the Relationship Manager will include:
- Client Relationship Management
- Responsible for delivering world class client service experience to UHNW clients
- Clients key point of contact on the Wealth Management Team for day-to-day needs
- Cultivate a thorough understanding of the expectations and preferences of clients to anticipate needs
- Responsible for preparing UHNW team for client meetings with various reports and analysis
- Extensive experience, swift identification of planning opportunities and operational expertise for effective resolution of client needs
- Ability and willingness to respond quickly to changing client expectations, ensuring client accessibility is crucial, even outside of regular business hours
- Operations Management
- Optimizes productivity by coordinating and prioritizing client deliverables
- Manages Escalation process for client needs or any operational issues or challenges with Custodians
- Responsible for the implementation of complex account-related topics such as 10b5-1 plans, pledged asset lines, alternative investments, account overlays, separate account managers, foundations and endowments
- Coordinates Wealth Management Team projects such as RMDs, tax loss harvesting, cash audits, and tracking of new assets as needed
- Ensure compliances with industry-standard licensing and the capability to execute trades and money movement directly with custodians for time-sensitive client requests
- Business Development
- Directly impact growth and client retention of the Wealth Management Team by driving high client satisfaction and adoption of additional services offered
- Build strategies to win new assets from existing clients by monitoring life events and outside assets
- Develop and monitor strategy of the Wealth Management Team for increased community sourced referrals
- Monitor progress toward team goals
- Self-motivated, well-organized individual with demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment to follow through on details to completion
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once
- Strong proficiency with financial planning software and Microsoft Office products
- Client Relationship Management (CRM) experience
- Flexible, reliable, trustworthy, and confidential with all matters
- Ability to successfully escalate client requests in a timely manner
- 5 to 8 years of experience or comparable knowledge in financial services
- Client-facing experience required with the ability to interact with individuals with a net worth of 25M in a professional and confidential manner
- Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution
- Series 65 required
