Front of House Manager / Sommelier

Bar Mercer is seeking a Floor Manager / Sommelier to join our team.

Qualifications : Sommelier / Floor Manager

• Certified Level 2 Sommelier
• A college degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of three years of experience working as floor manager / sommelier in a fastpaced, high volume, fine dining, or casual fine dining restaurant.
• An unparalleled commitment to hospitality and customer service.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to motivate and manage staff.
• Sound knowledge of service and food.
• Strong background in beverages, specifically wine.
• Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a high-pressure work environment.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to multitask.
• Willingness to grow and learn.
• DOH and Tips Certificate.
• Knowledge of Solidos is a plus
