Position Overview
We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our team. This critical role ensures Merchant Industry, LLC complies with all applicable regulations, payment processing guidelines, and industry standards. The Compliance Analyst will monitor and assess compliance risks, implement best practices, and support the organization in maintaining a culture of integrity and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret federal, state, and industry regulations impacting merchant processing, ensuring company practices align with legal and regulatory requirements.
Assess compliance risks associated with new and existing merchant accounts, transaction monitoring, and fraud prevention measures.
Develop, update, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure adherence to industry standards.
Conduct internal audits, prepare compliance reports, and coordinate external audits, ensuring timely resolution of identified issues.
Investigate compliance violations, recommend corrective actions, and document findings in alignment with regulatory expectations.
Collaborate with vendors, payment networks, and acquiring banks to ensure third-party compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field preferred.
2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or auditing within the merchant processing industry.
Knowledge of merchant processing systems, PCI DSS standards, and payment card industry regulations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex compliance concepts clearly.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with compliance management software is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a salary within the range of USD $52,000-62,000 annually plus a comprehensive benefits package including:
