Overview
Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely handling of all accounts payable and receivable functions
Responsibilities
- Backup for AP/AR personnel during scheduled days off
- Balance PROMPT and all accounts
- Code expense vouchers
- Daily posting to AR and journal entries to the GL system
- Oversee Ingles cross dock
- Key DSD information
- Maintain excess credit report
- Maintain office supplies
- Prepare ACH drafting information, billings, credits, and daily cash receipt entries to GL system
- Prepare financial reports for monthly financial statements
- Process paybacks
- Post Consolidation Services
- Produce weekly GL detail report and financial statement information
- Reconcile inventory daily and monthly to GL, responsible for accounts payable audits.
- Oversee associates in Visual in for department, switchboard operator and clerks
- Responsible for vendor maintenance
- May be required to perform other tasks as necessary
Qualifications
• Minimum 2-year degree in Accounting• Strong typing, data entry and 10 key skills• Strong sense or urgency and results oriented• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines timely• Proficient math, analytical and organizational skills• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
