Analyst, Residual Value and Risk

Location: Merchants Fleet Headquarters - Hybrid/Remote available

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict vehicle values, depreciation rates, and lease/rental structures.
• Analyze historical and current market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Provide expert recommendations on residual trends and depreciation rates for portfolio assets.
• Collaborate with internal teams (finance, sales, and operations) to support business strategies.
• Evaluate external market factors (interest rates, fuel prices, regulatory changes) and their impact on forecasting accuracy.
• Create executive-level presentations with key insights for internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience: 5 years in analysis, market research, or forecasting (automotive and fleet industry experience preferred).
• Skills: Strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication, and ability to influence high-level decisions.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas), and financial modeling.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business.
