Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Ensure inventory accuracy across all finished goods and raw materials by performing daily postings and weekly cycle counts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSBILE FOR THE SAFETY OF HIS/HER TEAM
• Ensure daily production posting is performed correctly.
• Work closely with Planning to support any inventory inquiries.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across the warehouse/yard.
• Execute weekly cycle counts, covering all groups per month, and report variances/adjustments.
• Preparation and execution of physical inventory every six months.
• Supervise execution of Inventory Control Specialist and material handler’s activities.
• Ensure the warehouse integrity based on the 6S program is maintained.
• Notify departments of inventory adjustments and their effect on production.
• Create purchase requirements for labels, ribbon and wrapping consumables.
• Perform daily cycle counts for indirect raw materials and consumables.
• Administrate shifts/assistance for team.
• Lead and participate in Safety investigations and Safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

NECESSARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND & COMPENTENCIES:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend labels, instructions, bill of lading.
• Knowledge of inventory management such as cycle counts, stock locations, etc.
• Experience in leading performance teams.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Computer and data entry skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Bi-lingual, English and Spanish, preferred.
