The Product/Business Analyst is a key role within the Legal Compliance & Security Value team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing business needs and working closely with stakeholders to develop digital and technology solutions that drive business outcomes for the Offices of the General Counsel.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US Salary Range
$139,600.00 - $219,700.00

The Product/Business Analyst is a key role within the Legal Compliance & Security Value team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing business needs and working closely with stakeholders to develop digital and technology solutions that drive business outcomes for the Offices of the General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited To
- Business process mapping – lead efforts in mapping existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and automation, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
- Gather insight into user journey, behavior, motivation, and pain points. Expose unarticulated problems and unmet needs.
- Translate business process requirements into technical requirements, requirements gathering, investigate with a problem-solving mind-set, and facilitate the “how” along with our IT partners, service providers, and cross-functional teams.
- Develop clear, actionable documentation of user stories and functional requirements that will guide engineering/development teams in creating effective solutions.
- Support project execution and product delivery by managing timelines and deliverables.
- Participate in the development and execution of training programs for stakeholders.
- Partner with business stakeholders on the development of business cases to support the justification for advancing our portfolio, undertaking a project, including the benefit, cost and risk of alternative options, and rationale for the preferred solution.
- Lead the planning, designing, and assist the business on the coordination of testing activities and business change management, as part of overall solution implementation.
- Assess the current state solutions and support development of roadmaps to deliver greater business value and maintain a secure and modern technology landscape.
- Demonstrate ability to independently solve problems that arise within job responsibility and expectations.
- Bachelors in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, product management, or a related field.
- Good understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience working with legal teams.
- Good understanding of legal e-billing processes, SAP, and source to settle.
- Experience with developing various types of requirements and user stories.
- Growth mind-set. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Experience with basic user-focused design techniques.
- Understanding of how to apply organizational change management principles.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Experience working within a product management organization.
