- Up to £55,000 basic salary

The company is a leading global manufacturer of Pumps with operations across five continents, including a strong presence in the UK and Europe.
The UK division has been operational for almost 20 years, focusing on building a reputation for high-quality pump solutions and aiming to become one of the top three suppliers in the UK market by 2027.
The company seeks to expand its market share by targeting new customers and sectors while maintaining existing relationships, with a strategic focus on displacing competitors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop New Business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the South East England territory.
- Maintain Relationships: Support and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure continued revenue growth.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential clients and sectors for expansion.
- Customer Engagement: Regularly visit customers to build strong relationships, explore new opportunities, and solicit inquiries and orders.
- CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage contacts, and report on sales forecasts.
- Competitive Strategy: Actively pursue competitor accounts while defending existing customer relationships.
- Sector Penetration: Target major sectors in the territory, focusing on end-users, OEMs, and contractors.
Requirements:
- Engineering background or education – Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, any relevant background.
- Experience dealing with customers and clients from a range of sectors: Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, utilities, construction, Manufacturing, Industrial engineering, etc.
- Sales experience managing and growing accounts.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a role.
