This role is vital to the success of the operation and its purpose is to promote our clients’ services and contracts to new and existing customers.
This role would be ideal for a Time served Mechanical Engineer who now has a commercial emphasis and thrives on developing a portfolio of clients, whilst also using their knowledge to commission and trouble shoot (pumps)on client sites.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales in various sectors such as the energy, industry and chemicals
- Develop and energise service offers and contracts over a defined geographical area, in line with sales strategy and with the aim of achieving quantitative and qualitative targets
- Develop the customer portfolio through prospecting and loyalty actions
- Carry out and support commissioning, maintenance and repair work on customer sites
- Comply with Group safety rules
Requirements:
- Experience serving customers in the Energy and Chemical industries.
- Experienced in Mechanical Engineering and Account Management a must!
- Good knowledge of the Lorraine industrial basin and Eastern area of France (willingness to travel as needed to customer sites)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3 to 5 years' relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word
- Knowledge of SAP
- Ability to reorganize priorities on a daily basis while producing deliverables
- Good level of written and spoken English is key
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid Works or other technical drawing tools is a plus
