What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Coordinator I position at Mercury Medical?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize NetSuite system to issue purchase orders, confirm purchase orders and track inventory.
- Process expense order requisitions for assigned vendors.
- Track inventory levels of packaging to assure correct ordering levels are maintained.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal customers.
- Ensure that delivery schedules are kept uptodate; record all changes.
- Maintain all records including but not limited to purchase orders, requisitions, quotations, and pricing files.
- Process returns to suppliers for nonconforming, out of the box failures and excess inventory levels.
- Assist accounting in invoicing discrepancies and unforeseen supplier issues.
- Monitor backorder and open purchase order reports and expedite accordingly.
- Work closely with receiving on unforeseen issues regarding discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracies.
- Attention to detail.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Two years' related experience preferred or a combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Individual must have knowledge of NetSuite and Microsoft Office. Excel experience a must.
