Job Summary
Mercury Systems is implementing a world-class Operational Excellence COE and has an immediate opportunity for a results-driven, energetic and motivating Manager of Operations Excellence to lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency across our organization. This role will be responsible for implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and change management.
Key Responsibilities Include :
- Process Improvement & Optimization
- Lead and implementLean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologiesto enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Analyzecurrent processesto identify inefficiencies and execute improvement plans that align with business objectives.
- Develop and maintainkey performance indicators (KPIs)to measure operational effectiveness.
- Leadership & Strategy
- Partner with cross-functional teams to embed aculture of continuous improvementthroughout the organization.
- Providecoaching and trainingon Lean Six Sigma principles to employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drivecost reduction, productivity enhancements, and quality improvements.
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Utilizestatistical analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysisto solve complex operational challenges.
- Implement and overseeperformance dashboards, scorecards, and reporting systemsto track progress.
- Change Management & Training
- LeadKaizen events, workshops, and value stream mapping sessionsto engage employees in continuous improvement efforts.
- Act as achange agent, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and improvements.
