Job Details
The right candidate will have 2 years of experience.
Travelers are required to complete a dysrhythmia exam prior to start.
A pass / fail Sim lab is required on day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions).
Proof of COVID vaccine is required prior to start or declination form can be filled out with appropriate supporting documentation.
Job Requirements
2 years of experience is required.
Active BLS, ACLS, and AZ license or compact are mandatory.
Travel experience is essential.
CERNER experience is a must.
Schedule Information
Contract length is 13 weeks.
Shifts are 12 hours, from 7 to 7.
Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend, could be every 3rd.
Holidays : Work into permanent staff rotation.
Unit Specific Information
Unit : Tele Neuro 2B
Certs : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
Ratios : 1 : 4 ratio
Floating : Cardiac Tele and / or MedSurg Onc
Floor specific orientation : 3 shifts on the floor.
Common diagnosis / Types of patients : CVA post TPA, basic gtts to titrate down, TIAs, head bleeds, carotids, thoracotomies, AICDs, post surgicals requiring tele.
Additional Details
ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); pre-screening is performed by Medical Solutions.
UNA Dysrhythmia Exam required with a maximum of 2 attempts.
PASS / FAIL Sim Lab on day one of orientation with provided study guides.
