Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Program Manager to join our close-knit team. In this pivotal role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and drive our health initiatives from the ground up. As part of our small but mighty team, you'll wear multiple hats and have a direct hand in the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Program Development and Management
- Design, implement, and oversee health programs that align with Mercy Health's mission and community needs
- Establish program goals, objectives, and performance metrics
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Monitor program progress and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and local government agencies
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify new partnership opportunities and expand our reach
- Represent Mercy Health at community events and stakeholder meetings
Team Leadership
- Mentor and supervise a small team of community health coordinators and volunteers
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and personal growth
- Provide regular feedback and conduct performance evaluations
Fundraising and Grant Management
- Assist in identifying grant opportunities and contributing to grant proposals
- Manage grant reporting requirements and ensure compliance with funder expectations
- Support fundraising efforts by providing program data and success stories
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Oversee data collection and analysis to measure program effectiveness
- Prepare and present regular reports to the leadership team and Board of Directors
- Use data insights to continuously improve program strategies and outcomes
Organizational Growth
- Contribute to the organization's strategic planning process
- Identify opportunities for program expansion and new initiative development
- Help build and refine organizational systems and processes as we grow
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Non-profit Management, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit or healthcare setting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful community health programs
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
