Mercy House Global Local Hope Program Director

Roles and Responsibilities:
The Local Hope Program Director is responsible for the planning, execution, and success of programs within the Local Hope Program of Mercy House Global. Their duties include:
Identify and maintain relationships with Local Hope Beneficiaries and mentors
- Identify women candidates for the Local Hope Artisan Program through Women’s Empowerment Lunches.
- Create and oversee the successful implementation of Development Plans for Local Hope beneficiaries
- Casework for Local Hope Beneficiaries
- Implement workplace readiness skill training and career counseling
- Oversee Local Hope Mentor
Identify Maintain relationships with partner ministries.
- Understand the resources available to our Local Hope beneficiaries through other local ministries.
- Use relationships to identify guest speakers for Women’s Empowerment Lunches.
- Representing the organization at industry events and public forums
Plan and Implement Women’s Empowerment Lunches.
- Book guest speaker for 12 Empowerment Luncheons per year (1 per month)
- Work alongside Local Hope Coordinators to plan and implement all aspects of luncheons for both refugees and survivors
Program Development
- Overseeing the implementation of Local Hope programs from start to finish, including goals, deadlines, and milestones for beneficiaries.
- Developing and approving budgets and operations
- Reporting to leadership and communicating status updates, key decisions, and changes to stakeholders
- Creating evaluation strategies to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement
