Education: College degree preferred. Must have a high school diploma or pass a general educational development test (GED).
In the Residential Supervisor, Nights position, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Home Responsibilities:

Responsible for the decisions made in the home throughout the evening with supervision by the Program Director when necessary.

Ensure nightly scheduled is maintained.

Monitor the front desk of the home and answer the phone throughout the night.

Assure safety in the home: check all interior and exterior doors at night and set the alarm after lights out; lock kitchen at night and unlock for breakfast prep the next morning, where applicable.

Report any major problems/emergencies to Program Director (suicidal threats, emergency vehicles on property, residents going to the hospital, resident leaving property, etc.).
Staff Responsibilities:

Supervise and train night staff (includes Home Assistant for Nashville home).

Review weekend plans and coordinate which staff will administer each duty.

Supervise and make overall decisions for the night shift with direction from Program Director when necessary.

Supervise the Residential Assistant, Nights assigned to your shift.

Approve web clock punches and timesheet each pay period.
-
Approve time-off.
-
Approve punch change requests.

Complete 90-day reviews.

Complete annual evaluations.
Resident Supervision:
-
Supervise residents during church and other off-campus functions during the evening.

Supervise night work details (household duties), free time, meals, snack times, and after meal monitoring.

Supervise residents’ plates to ensure they meet the appropriate nutrition guidelines set by the Nutrition Manager.

Supervise the dispersing of medications to residents as needed and ensure appropriate recording of medications.

Supervise evening class and discussion; teach when scheduled, where applicable.

Responsible for calling the appropriate people when a resident goes into labor and for getting the resident to the hospital.

Check residents in/out of the program when necessary.

Hold residents accountable to follow program expectations and confront areas of concern; discipline residents as needed.

Resolve any conflict between the residents if they cannot resolve it themselves.
Transportation:

Must be responsible for safe transportation of residents when needed (special events on the weekend, church on Sunday mornings, to and from the airport and to the hospital)
Schedule: Wednesday night 4:30p - Thursday morning 8:30a, and Thursday night 4:30p – Friday morning 8:30a
Compensation: $23 - $25 per hour

Mercy’s Residential counseling Program is voluntary, biblically-based, and helps young women ages 13–32 break free from life-controlling issues and situations, including anxiety, depression, abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, addictions, unplanned pregnancy, and sex trafficking. These residential services are offered free-of-charge. The Mercy Multiplied Center for Wellness and Counseling is Mercy’s free-of-charge Outpatient counseling Program for men and women aged 13 and older. Our Outreach Services train and resource men and women to effectively support and minister to those who are hurting and struggling through workshops, videos, podcasts, discipleship teaching, and other practical resources.
