Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate clinical supervisor/charge nurse to join our team at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital - Fort Smith. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of safe and effective patient care after hours, on weekends, and on holidays or when the Chief Nursing Officer is not available.
Responsibilities include assessing all departments to ensure continuity of care and reporting pertinent information to management and administration. You will also be responsible for effectively communicating unusual occurrences or complaints for follow-up and intervening immediately when necessary.
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in rehabilitative or acute care setting and/or demonstrates leadership ability.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate, and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills demonstrated.
