Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments to identify treatment needs.
- Provide care in accordance with physician orders and established plans of care.
- Assess the effectiveness of treatment and modify treatment as needed to achieve goals.
- Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare teams to achieve rehabilitation goals.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to program development.
- Collaborate with the department on budget planning to ensure cost-effectiveness of services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field from an accredited institution.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY).
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in state.
- Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
