As a Laboratory Specimen Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing accurate, timely, and effective laboratory support. This includes acquiring laboratory specimens for testing, utilizing safe and professional methodologies while observing HIPAA confidentiality requirements and lab policies.
You will be responsible for processing, transporting, and referring all types of laboratory specimens and reports as required. In order to achieve the competencies of this position, you must be observed by laboratory management or designee and complete all departmental checklists.
