Overview:
As a Registered Nurse on our Rehabilitation Unit, you will utilize the nursing process to provide patient-centered care, prioritizing the unique needs and goals of each individual. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' overall health status and develop personalized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for growth and implementing evidence-based practices.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- One or more of the following certifications may be required based on the position/unit: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, or unit-specific certifications.
