As we scale and expand, we are seeking a motivated and experienced People Operations Specialist to join our lean, high-performing People team. You will support employees in both the US and Germany, ensuring the smooth operation of People functions and providing assistance across various HR areas.
You'll play a key role in fostering a positive and productive workplace, enhancing the employee experience across the entire lifecycle-from onboarding to offboarding-while managing HR data, systems, payroll, reporting and supporting key People programs and projects.

What will you be doing?
- Support the People team's implementation of initiatives that support business objectives and promote a positive work environment
- Champion collaborative cross-functional relationships with other teams and hiring managers to ensure the successful onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Organize, maintain, and audit personnel records
- Own and manage HR systems and tech stack
- Act as first point of contact for People-related queries
- Identify inefficiencies to HR systems, processes and standards, and execute effective solutions to drive efficiency, self-service and scalability
- Manage the benefits programs and the annual benefits enrollment process
- Own payroll processing and providing functional support for incentive programs
- Prepare HR reporting and data analysis to inform decision-making
- Support People programs such as performance and compensation reviews
- Apply knowledge of, and ensure compliance with federal and state legislation including, but not limited to ADA, FMLA, EEO, OSHA, etc.
- Help the team solve problems and facilitate change in imaginative and practical ways
- Play an active role in internal communications, education and training
- Support the workplace experience team as needed, including hosting company events, recognition and appreciation programs
- Deliver special projects as needed
