Position Overview
Earth Development is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Estimating and Sales team. This role is essential in evaluating projects, ordering materials, managing subcontractors, and overseeing field budgets. The Estimator will play a critical role in ensuring cost-effective and innovative project execution.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Ability to perform takeoffs using Agtek software.
- At least 3 years of experience in estimating civil projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project plans, specifications, and bidding instructions to determine the scope of work.
Prepare detailed bid proposals, including inclusions, exclusions, and qualifications.
Set up accounting budgets, develop project schedules, and prepare field documentation.
Ensure compliance with utility locates and safety regulations.
