What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Supervisor position at Meridell Achievement Center?
Your Impact:
- Supervise Mental Health Technicians to create a Residential program under the guidance of the Program Director
- Reinforce the treatment milieu of programming for positive peer culture and neurobehavioral as directed by the Program Director
- Collaborate with all clinical and medical departments for Neuro units
- Provide leadership, consultation, and training to all members of the Treatment Team to ensure that the approved program philosophy and integrity are maintained at all times
- Support the clinical team and unit nurse leadership
- Occasionally fill in on units as duties arise, while maintaining a managerial relationship with all MHTs assigned on unit
- Work collaboratively with other departments utilizing the resources of UHS Neurobehavioral Systems to enhance the milieu, program effectiveness, and skills of the unit staff
What You'll Bring:
- Two to three (2-3) years of experience in a residential treatment setting or working with adolescents preferred
- Preferred licensed person, experience with children and adolescents, and psychiatric program/unit management
- Ability to organize, coordinate, communicate, teach, and provide leadership for the assigned programs
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and participate in crisis intervention techniques with patients requiring physical control
