Job Summary
The material handler will finalize products from manufacturing for shipping. This person will manage pick tickets and batch orders from manufacturing and physically put finished goods into appropriate storage locations, after completing required finishing steps and inspections to ensure product quality. Will also review products to ensure orders are correct and inventory records are kept up to date for a smooth flow between manufacturing and shipping.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct quality verifications on manufacturing orders
- Correct number of units
- Correct weight filled into containers, through weight sampling analysis.
- Correct labels via matching physical product to associated production and shipping paperwork.
- Complete finishing activities, which includes but isn’t limited to shrink wrapping, induction sealing, and paperwork completion.
- Pull needed samples for QC from products as directed by plant leadership or production paperwork.
- Put finished goods product meeting all specifications into shipping storage locations based upon warehouse management rules.
- Back-up picking orders for shipping when needed.
- Oversees packing & packaging supplies stock replenishment.
- Ensures warehouse goals are met.
- Maintains a high level of organization.
- Direct required materials to proper locations according to schedule.
- Verify deliveries of materials are accurate.
- Close, Print, and Organize production batch tickets as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred.
- Close attention to detail
- Positive attitude, Self-motivated, Safety conscious
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Ability to work independently.
Education & Experience
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 50lb.

Schedule: 1st Shift 7:30 am-4:00 pm M-F
Pay: $19.50 per hour
