Position: HR Generalist (Hybrid)
Wage: $23.00 per hour including full-time benefits package with PTO and volunteer time
Schedule: Monday-Friday daytime hours with some early evenings occasionally. After 3 months of employment, position may be eligible to work from home up to two days a week.
Location: Golden Valley, MN.

Job Objective:
The Human Resource Generalist is an entry-level position serving as a consultative partner and supporting the execution of business objectives, utilizing human resource processes, and tools.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a variety of HR processes such as new hire orientation, internal customer service/HR support to field locations, staffing and training initiatives, benefits enrollment, and employee relations.
- Data Entry of Human Resource Information
- Assist with initiatives to identify and implement strategies and programs that help engage and retain a high performing workforce and enhance company culture.
- Advise business leaders on effective leadership practices to ensure accountability in managing their staff.
- Partner with functional experts on the establishment and facilitation of employee training needs including new employee orientation, employment development, and cross-training.
- Assist with recruitment and staffing process by partnering with Recruiter to identify workforce needs and develop sourcing strategies to hire qualified and highly talented employees for our organization.
- Conduct employment verification and field employee complaints that could result in legal ramifications or organizational exposure.
- Implement and communicate HR programs, policies, and employee guidelines to achieve goals and fulfill legal requirements. Ensure consistency across the organization with all existing programs.
- May be required to perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (preferred).
- Prefer 1 years’ experience in a Generalist position, or similar position in scope and complexity.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- The ability to stay organized and prioritizing multiple tasks without compromising quality or service.
- Successful clearance of a MN DHS background study.
- Successful clearance of a motor vehicle background check per Orion Associate's policies.
