Job Summary
- The Product Specialist is the primary solution provider for our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Field inquiries from customers looking for technical support.
- Make recommendations to customers on appropriate products to use based on the application information provided.
- Develop solutions to customer issues by collaborating with R&D and Quality as required.
- Support our customers through attendance at various industry trade shows and customer sites.
- Work on projects to continually improve the performance of the company.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science.
- Working understanding of analytical equipment such as DSC, TGA, TMA, DMA, Brookfield viscometers, and UV/VIS/NIR spectrophotometer.
- Working knowledge of epoxy resin chemistry and application specific fillers for high tech applications highly preferred.
- Some knowledge of alternate polymer chemistry-including acrylates, polyimides, polyurethanes, and elastomers for use in engineering applications in the electronics markets preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
