What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Lab Technician/Medical Tech-Generalist-PRN position at Merit Health River Region?

About The Job:
- Responsible for performing diagnostic quality routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests according to pre-established guidelines.
- Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.
- Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures and maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.
Education/Requirements:
- Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science.
- One (1) year of Medical Laboratory experience is preferred.
- As a Medical Laboratory Technician registered or eligible for registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP), or CLT (NCA) or equivalent is required.
- As a Medical Technologist, MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), HEW or CLT(NCA) is required.
